#BBB NEWS| 50 Cent Is Reportedly Suing Rick Ross For Remixing His Song

It looks like Rick Ross and 50 Cent’s dispute is headed to court. According to the Wall Street Journal, Fifty is suing the MMG boss for a song that’s featured on his Renzel Remixes mixtape, that debuted in November.

According to the lawsuit, Ross utilized the instrumental and title of “In Da Club” for his project, to which Fifty claims that Rozay illegitimately used his identity to promote and sell his current studio album Black Market.

The “BMF” rapper’s aforementioned project was released in the following weeks, which also prompted Fifty to share his sentiments, primarily on the album’s sales. “Is that a rock or a brick?” he said during a radio interview.

According to the suit, Fifty’s lawyers are seeking “$2 million in damages and an injunction barring the use of any trademarks or work product created or produced by 50 Cent,” per the WSJ.

This tug-of-war between Fifty and Ross has been an ongoing matter for quite some time, or since 2009. The artists have thrown jabs at each other on social media to interviews. On the topic of Fifty’s reported bankruptcy filing, Ross said, “I’m not gonna speak on another man’s pockets. That’s not my job. But everything another man works for, and the only thing, as a man, you got is your name: Get Rich or Die Tryin. And now you bankrupt.”

He later continued to say during his sit-down with The Breakfast Club, “You can come back tomorrow and explain it and say, ‘I’m doing this, I’m doing that’ — stop. Stop. There’s holes in your roof, fam.”
