Lee Nichols, 51, only started watching the award-winning series earlier this year but instantly realised he had an uncanny likeness to the main character, whose alter-ego is Heisenberg.
The taxi company controller from Walton-on-the-Naze is regularly stopped in the streets by fans who want to get selfies, and could now be set to make thousands of pounds as a Walter White look-a-like.
He is currently in the process of setting up a business, Heisenberg's Photographic Services, which will see him arrive at weddings and parties as his alter-ego, and is on the hunt for a look-alike for the character of Jesse Pinkman to accompany him on some jobs.
Lee was lucky enough to meet the Cranston at the London premier of the star's new movie Trumbo in October.
"I was initially spotted by one of the photographers who took some pictures," Lee said.
"Bryan came over and we spoke briefly - it was strange because he was looking like himself whereas I was there looking like Heisenberg.
"I was hoping he'd put on a spare pair of shades I'd brought along but unfortunately he was moved along the carpet by the promoters."
While in London Lee discovered how noticeable his resemblance was: "A few tourists were coming up to me and asking if I was Walter White and I ended up doing a few selfies with them," he said.
"I then walked into Scarlet's Bar in Covent Garden and dozens of people were wanting to chat and have pictures taken with me - it really was amazing and quite bizarre at the same time."
"I loved the series when I saw it - Bryan Cranston is just incredible.
"To be able to go from Walter White to his alter ego of Heisenberg in the way he does is just amazing."
