Hussein Fatal, founding member of The Outlawz and rap affiliate of the late Tupac Shakur, was killed in a car accident on Saturday (July 11).

The 38-year-old New Jersey native, born Bruce Washington, was infamously known for appearing on ‘Pac’s “Hit ‘Em Up” diss record against The Notorious B.I.G.

He also appeared on ‘Pac’s Me Against The World and All Eyez On Me albums. The Outlawz group took to Twitter to announce Fatal’s passing:

After the release of his 1998 debut In The Line Of Fire, Fatal parted ways with The Outlawz and Death Row Records before reuniting with the group in 2010. During his estrangement, Fatal teamed up with Murder Inc. Records, appearing on Ja Rule’s 2003 album Blood in My Eye.

Rule also took to Instagram to mourn the loss of Fatal upon hearing the news.

“Damn I’m gonna miss my nigga all them late night talks about industry bullshit all the city’s we tore down real nigga we had a lot of good times my brother Rip soldier I’m gonna miss u!!! #RipFatal,” he wrote.

The details surrounding Hussein Fatal’s car crash are still pending.
