#BBB NEWS| Camille Cosby Reportedly Claims Husband’s Accusers “Consented” To Drugs And Sex

Apparently, Camille Cosby is still standing by her man. In a new report from the New York Post, Bill Cosby’s wife is unfazed by the revelation of a 2005 deposition in which her husband admitted to his intentions to sleep with women he purchased Quaaludes for.

A source close to the family told the newspaper that Camille believes the women involved with the fallen comedic star had “consented” to drugs and sex.

“Camille still doesn’t believe that Bill provided drugs and had sex with women without their consent,” the source told The Post. “She’s well aware of his cheating, but she doesn’t believe that her husband is a rapist.”

Unlike Jill Scott and Stacey Dash – who championed Bill Cosby’s legacy before rescinding their support – another source to The Post noted that naysayers only urge Camille to further her defense. The unidentified business partner with the Cosbys called Camille “a proud, dignified but stubborn woman. You can say that she’s standing by her husband, but really, the more people stand against him, the more she perceives it as an affront to her and all that she’s done to make him a star.”

With dozens of women claiming to have been taken sexual advantage of by Bill Cosby, Camille is reportedly also unmoved by the disclosure of her husband’s cheating ways. The Post also reports that another source says his unfaithfulness has not produced any friction or jealousy in their relationship.

“You have to allow for space to let your partner do what he wants. I have done that and [Bill] has done that and there’s no jealously, no friction,” the source quotes Camille as saying. As the rise of rape allegation began to overtake Bill Cosby’s name last year, Camille released a statement in his defense. Taking the stance that he was the victim, she shunned news outlets for condemning her husband without “vetting” his accusers.

“A different man has been portrayed in the media over the last two months,” she wrote. “It is the portrait of a man I do not know. It is also a portrait painted by individuals and organizations whom many in the media have given a pass. There appears to be no vetting of my husband’s accusers before stories are published or aired. An accusation is published, and immediately goes viral.”

Looks like Camille’s faith in her husband is unwavering.
