The 2014 Forest Hills Drive artist is sitting high on his Grammy nomination, but isn’t letting the success get to his head. The nine-track project features contributions from Dreamville’s usual suspects Bas, Cozz, Omen and Elite.
The release of the project comes as no surprise to Dreamville fans. Sunday night, (December 6) Cole tweeted out a mysterious number, and when fans called most heard a joke, others were told the mailbox was full, but a few lucky fans were able to speak with Cole and his manager.
The surprise release comes about a month shy of Cole’s HBO special, “J. Cole Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming,” which will feature guest appearances from Drake, Big Sean and Jay Z.
